New alternator wiring

Agree with Kalli next time, pleasestart a new thread. You would leave the Vreg hooked up since none of the wires should be attached to the Alternator. (no field wire connection now) At the alternator end just hook up the power and if theres a spot a ground wire other than that everthing else gets stowed and taped over. good luck
