Yeah but it looks good, what you did with the letting. What color is your block? I am just wondering if I need to paint my block black in order to make it all work together... Guess I could have it powder coated to match my car, but I don't particularly care for that look.

what is is "letter from ford"?

Bullitt sent a letter to ford asking for info about his stang. He gave me the idea to send one out myself on my 67. I was seeing how long it took him to get a letter back from them. It has been a month and a half and I still haven't gotten a letter.

and I think they both look fine, however even though that is an original air cleaner, it doesn't look like one designed for a mustang. I could be wrong, but I remember the cleaners looking different, and the lid being more smooth.

In either case it looks good though
Thats the same one that was on my 302 when it was stock. It is for a mustang, but it may not be of of a 67. Im not sure if the 67-73s all used the same cleaner or not.

ah okay well it still works and looks good whether it is "correct" or not. I'm not one of those that care for it to be super correct, i was just merely pointing it out.

as for the letter, did you get a marti report for info on your stang?

No. I just requested any information that Ford had on my coupe. I will get a Marti Report later.

I'm probably getting rid of mine... they'll fit yours... theyre in excellent shape, need to be cleaned but I'd do that before I sent em off to you... I found some that'll match my car better once I'm finished painting the engine again this winter...

These are what I have:

These are what I'm buying:

just not sure if that means I should paint my engine black... anyway, just kicking it around. Let me know if you wanna work something out.
Keep the block ford blue or what would look good and I have seen it done is paint your block red to match the red in the heads you're going to use. It was done on a 68 red fast back.

All I did to mine for the black look was paint the water pump, alternator, p/s pump, and intake. First attempt ever at painitng an engine, but it did come out good. The block stayed dark ford blue.

you are correct its not off a mustang, its off a mid 70s full size ford. cant remeber the model. but it looks more stockish than the chrome one. obviously a HXC enthusiast will spot the fake. but it makes it look a little more subdued.

BA if you dont get the letter i will dig up my old letter and give you the exact address. and phone number.

Waffles, let me know what you are looking for money wise. let me see what i can do.

Did I stumble into the Mustang Classified by accident again???

Crap!
In that case I have some chrome drag pipes for my old 78 PACER WAGON "SUPER DUPER EDITON" With the PACER EXCLUSIVE! 550 hp dual overhead cam twin turbo Inline 3 Cylinder!
Slightly bend/Mostly rusted and One has a dead rat stuck in it from the early 80's (I think it's still in there).
I except all major credit cards and PAYPAL. The only trades I will concider are early SHELBY model Mustangs and some later model Corvette's. Otherwise DON'T WASTE MY TIME!!!
