Default Stangaholic for 60's Mustangs

Am I am a stangaholic? You bet! I presently own a few Mustangs, a 65 with a hipo 289 engine in it,4 66's, one of which was originally owned by the coach of the Razorbacks and has a bench seat, factory a/c and is in original condition, (one is a 6, the other 3 are 8's) a 69 289 which is being restored back to factory condition, unfortunately can't find a fastback so I am getting into coupes. I have heard about a 66 Mustang concept car with a rotary wankel engine that could be ordered factory direct, and was wondering if anyone knows how many were produced, how many might be out there today and what they are worth. Am just curious because I didn't know that Ford stuck a wankel engine in Stangs back then. Thanks.

Nice collection, I am a stangaholic too!My favorite is a 69' fastback, or any '60's fastback. I only own one car as of now, a 65 fastback with a 200.

I have never heard of that before. I checked mustang specs and they don't show that type of concept on there.

I know Ford did some crazy stuff, but I doubt they did anything that crazy, not in the muscle car era anyway.

classic autos: same as a bag of pills. The demons with their horns and fangs steal form you then call you names, got no dough to pay the bills, sanity ran for the hills.

a 69 289 which is being restored back to factory condition,
289? What was the original engine, because Ford never had a 289 in a 1969. The 289 was discontinued in the first half of the 1968 production.

There are none out there, because they never made them.

Darnit, you beat me to it.

To the OP, you can't be a "stangaholic" if you don't know what you're talking about. But that's okay, we'll teach you. Consider us AA for your disease.
