I was just looking on the websites in the FAQ looking for mustang junkyard sales section (XIII) and I saw SO MANY rotten mustangs, mustangs just sitting in garages, some in need of only minor renovations, some with an entire tree growing through them. I am saddened that people cared that little, where they can just let them rot. Thre s one about a dude whose son had a 68 Shelby GT500 and it shows pictures of the car sitting in the front yard. Its not for sale because the son was killed in Vietnam so its a memorial to him, instead of restoring it, its sunken into the mud and been flooded many times. My brother and I found a 68 Buick GS convertible with 330 miles on it....

The only bad part was it had a tree growing through the 4 speed shifter plate hole that was about 8 inches in diameter,I wish I could find those pictures, anyway It was purchased 2 weeks before the guy was headed for Vietnam by his father as a graduation present. He never returned and his father never moved the car out of the driveway. It was way beyond fixable when you pressed down on the fender with your finger it pushed right through it..
We were there picking up scrap after the estate sale.

Wow, can't believe some of those chargers and stuff, Suprised no one's stolen the grilles and stuff. Them alone would sell for a small fortune. I wish I could find me a gto or charger like that... I'd fix it up. I've seen stuff like this around my area. Seen a few mustangs out in a field 2 appeared to have boss 302 stripes. The area was fenced off and a sign was posted.

Last spring i was searching for a few parts for a 56 dodge i had and found some parts in wrecking yards all over the country, when i called and inquired i was told by most that there getting more money by scrapping the cars than there getting for the parts. Its sad to see a torch brought to these gems and it make life real difficult for finding parts, thus i sold the dodge and got new rims for my 06 stang
