For the love of God does anyone know where the splash guards are mounted? I can't seem to find intructions anywhere and I want to get em on before the car goes to paint Friday. Anyone have any pictures?

While we are on the subject, has anyone bought the aftermarket rubber gasket set for their splash guards? If so, any thoughts?. Do they fasten with staples like the originals or is it a sheet metal screw?

DOH!!!! that would have been good to put in there. Sorry bout that. It's a 68.

 

I helped a friend to the replacement rubber gasket for his 66.... sheeezzz.. it was very time consuming using the stapes. I would be tempted to buy the splash guards new with rubber installed..

 

Thanks for the info. I was wondering if the staples were worth trying to use or not.

+1 on buying them assembled, they are under the fender in the wheel well one in front right behind the headlight and 1 in the rear in front of the door hinges
