Nabster,
How do you tell if the seats are toast? Can you visually inspect them by pulling the covers and looking at them (with the valve raised of coarse)?
I have an I6 200 and have wondered the same thing.

That I don't know, I would think it'd be fairly easy to tell how the seats are holding up, but I'm not an engine expert.
