Well I can do backspacing easy enough.. No quarters on it means plenty of room to see how much will fit. It would be a guess on the outside at this point, since I could hold the quarters on with magnets and measure, but its nowhere near final.

I have 15x8 rims under it now, they fit before I cut the quarters off, but it could use more backspace, there is a ton of room behind those tires. Does he want to go 16"-17" or larger?

magnum 500s look best in a 15x8 size wheel. and u want a ~4.5 inch backspacing. give or take a 1/4 inch.

225/60/15s i think would be a good size.

If he gets a 15x8 rim can a wider tire like 245 or larger go on without the wheel sticking out of the wheelwell?
