347 Stroker build
I've been doing some more research and I understand the pro's and con's for the 347 compared to the 331. In saying that I haven't decided exactly what I am going with. I am using a 4 speed toploader and going with the 91 block so what balance will i need the 28oz or 50oz??

Not for sure with a 347 or 331, but witha 351 based stroker, it all depends on the kit (or parts) used.....
Probably the same for 331/347.
If you intend on building your own stroker, you can select all of the parts seperatly, or you can save some money and a lot of headaches by buyimg a kit. And as long as you are buying a kit, make sure you ger a balanced kit.... it is worth the money and will save you agrivation.
Well, as long as you are buying a kit, you may as well just buy an assembled short block, I mean really, if you shop around, you can probably get an assembled short block for a little less than you can but all of the stuff and machine work to make your own....
And as long as you are doing this, check on the long block prices....... or the complete engine....

And to answer your balancer 28-50-0. Well 0 would be best because that means you internally balanced every part so external balancing is not needed. This is the best method however can cost a lot more but well worth it when spinning to higher rpm. (will allow more rpm)
