Default Front Suspension upgrades

So I have been thinking about upgrading my entire front suspension. The car won't be on the road for awhile and when it is i want it to handle like a new car. So I have been watching the price on some of the IFS and was wondering if you guys had one and could give me some feed back on how well they actually work and if they are worth the money. Or if just replacing stock components will have the same effect. Thanks.

well the stock geometry basicly sucks on the classic stangs. i will be going with the Martz front suspension http://www.martzchassis.net/mustang2008cat.pdf for a couple reasons, 1 is better suspension hands down, and 2 it gets rid of the shock towers, also provides disc brakes, the people are also nice. i was looking at some other kits that are cheaper, but since i need to replace my front rails anyways, i decided on this

I'm planning on going to MII IFS, I think it'll be worth the money. For $2000-3000 I can go to coilover IFS, front disc brakes and rack and pinion steering, not to mention solidify the front end and ditch the shock towers.

Nothing felt better than new suspension when I changed mine. The only royal pain was the squeaking from the polyurethane bushings in both the new control arms and sway bar. Be sure to address this issue when you get the parts or you will certainly have to re-install some parts in order to eliminate the squeaking. Good luck.

Stock suspension is IFS.

While the stock geometry does suck, it can be made much better with an UCA drop, stiffer springs, and roller spring perches.

oh yeah, thanks for adressing that, i forgot to. IMO, if you have the money and the means to, i would go with some sort of aftermarket setup, again IMO

If i had to do mine over id use http://www.maxgsystems.com/presenter...aspx?Id=104557 front kit maybe the rear too.If you want oem designed parts http://www.opentrackerracingproducts.com/products/ has great parts then there is coil overs like tcp and global west. But first things to try a export brace and monte carlo bar maybe sub frame connectors too.

Is it just bolt-on? I don't know how safe I'd feel with the entire front end just bolted to the car. Maybe I'm wrong, it must work well at that price.

yeah its bolt on.

but the stock suspension is bolt on as well. the A arms bolt onto the frame. and this kit just bolts onto the frame as well.
