Default Turn signal help

Talking about rear lights.

Both lights works when lights are on
right turn sgnal works
left does not
when braking only right side comes on

I thought it might be a problem with my sequential tail lights. Put a new one in and same problem. grounds are good. And it seems im getting power to the left socket when brakes are applied.

djsprinklesnjo have you replaced the turn signal flasher? Possibly a cheap fix.

EZ use a test light to verify whether or not you have power when brakes are applied . If you don't then it's possibly a turn signal switch. I'm not familer enough with the sequential system to comment. Good luck

try checking the center post of the lite socket where the harness connects to the lite,,if the center post is mashed that causes some really weird isuess,,,dont't even ask me about that one,,ya I know its weird but as I said

vescotech, you know what, i totally over looked that. ughh i feel so dumb now. thats why i can always count on this forum for help. thanks

also on a side note. a while back ive thought about rewiring the whole car with those aftermarket wire harness kits. and just never did it, now its almost winter again and i think ill look into doing it again. maybe ill try a universal kit. the painless ones are sooo overpriced.
