Don't want to go 15 minutes away just to buy some. The antifreeze in it we put in about 1 week ago when we replaced my alternator and water pump.

$5 a gallon for antifreeze I paid a little over $10 about two weeks ago. Where you able to reuse it BA? I would put a strainer in there when refilling the radiator just in case.

If the coolant is new, why are you draining it anyways? New radiator?

But, for coolant replacement in general, I'd suggest getting a coolant flush, which removes all old liquid and gunk from the block, lines, and radiator...not just the radiator...

My harmonic balancer went. So I had to take the radiator off to get to it.
