Default 1966 VIN location(s)

On a 1966 Mustang where are ALL the VIN (Vehicle I.D. Number) stamped? How many times should the VIN be stamped on the Vehicle?
I know of the VIN on the drive's front inner fender and the tag in the door jam, are there other locations that I should check to see if these numbers are correct and still there?
(Such as the frame, engine, trans, firewall or other body panels)
Thanks Ken

On drivers door plate, it will be the warranty number.

On the right fender similar to the drivers side, except hidden under the fender.

There is numbers on the engine block, Tranny and on the frame near the drivers quarter panel. The only one that really matters is the one on the frame, it should match the dataplate on the door. If your door was ever replaced though the numbers may not match the number stamped on the engine bay frame.

use this link it will send you to a decoder website where you can put in your warranty number!

The only places on a 1966 where the warranty number (or VIN) is stamped is on the Door, Left Fender and Right Fender Apron under the fender. It is not stamped on the engine or transmission. Thats a GM thing. Thats why "numbers matching" dosen't really apply on a Mustang. The "date codes" should match but beyond that not much.
