My 66 coupe with a 289 doesn't overheat. Stays right in the middle. It's the originalt thermostat, radiator, no shroud or anything.

I know it get's hot, I'm only about 4-500 miles away, so it can't be much different than it is here.

I really am from Israel..but it doesnt make any diffrent its still hot in here

I've chked it out and I have changed the ressitor that goes behind the gauge and its okay now...I think that was the problem.

The question is now Will I stay with a 5 blade fan ? or should I change it to 7-8 blades?
Should I install shroud ? should I take off the electric fan ?

All of these seems like helping cooling down the engine, but, Do I need them ? I would like to hear what do you guys are having under you hood.

Thanks much !
Eran.

Why would you want to take off any upgrades to your cooling system? Leave then on and enjoy a cool ride.

Well, it does have an engine and tranny, I didn't go that far. It's a 289 Auto. Thats IT as far as the powertrain, and yes it has a driveshaft and rear end too.
