Default Door Window Weatherstriping

Need some help guys. The door glass is starting to separate from the chrome trim on my 66 and I cannot find any place that sells new weatherstriping for it. Do I just squirt silicone down between the chrome and glass? I hope it isn't one of those "take it to a glass shop" things. Hope you can help. Thanks ahead of time!

What you are looking for is "Glass Tape" not weather striping. NPD sells it in rolls. As long as you dont force the glass to hard back on the chrome you wont have any problems. Make sure you pick up a sharp razor to trim the excess off.

NPD calls it "glass channel seal strip." It's sold in 4' rolls at $3 each. One window needs a total of 40" of the seal strip.

Part number: 214A10-1

Just apply a very small amount of grease or oil between the trim and seal to allow the trim to slide over the seal more easily.
