They convert the strut connector on the spindle to accept a balljoint.

I noticed on their web site that they don't list a kit for a Maverick. Did you install one for a mustang if so how good did the crossmember fit?

I could get my dad to make me a pair of those out of aluminum. I really want to run fox body brakes and lug so I can get rid of these adapters and run small spacers in the front.

I don't know if I'd trust those made from aluminum. Not like that, anyway. That's a pretty high stress area, and aluminum will fatigue and crack under enough stress cycles.

That's strange...
They do make a kit for the Maverick and comet though.
The instructions that came with the kit were for the Maverick and the Xmember slid in there tight.

The suspension on the maverick is 68 mustang i believe the whole engine bay is the same size.BA mustang unless its some billet or hard alum nice knowing you.
