Default lifter noise question.

when i drive the car normally it sounds great. I have High oil pressure due to the high flow pump that i installed.

When i get on it and reach about 5k rpm. The lifters tick for about 30 seconds once the rpms come back down. it goes away quickly but i am concerned do to issues that i have had in the past. I think that my engine should be fine up to 6k rpms. I know i have good oil presuure so i am looking for additional ideas.

Sure they're not ticking all the time, and the engine noise isn't covering it up while accelerating?

If in doubt, readjust the valvetrain. It doesn't take that long.

I think i am going to readjust them. they only tick after accelerating hard. And then it is only for a short time about 30-45 seconds.
