Eh....Isky cams are old school thinking. They're set up with a really narrow LSA, which gives them a hefty lope and good high end, but not a very wide powerband, which is what you want on a street car. Good sound, mediocre performance.

Why didn't you change the cam in thie freshly rebuilt engine? You didn't put the original cam back in it did you? I find it unusual to upgrade to aluminum heads and keep the stock cam? Didn't your rebuilder talk to you about this issue?

Who ever did the rebuild needs to let you know how much pv clearance you have and what the maximum lift can be. Given you don't want the HP, but are looking for more torque, a set of 1.7:1 or greater rockers may give you just what you want.

Here are some 1.7:1 rollers (3/8 or 7/16 stud):

And here are some 1.75 if you have 7/16 studs:

And here are some 1.8:1:

I was thinking that changing heads would be my last upgrade. I discussed with some people here (https://mustangforums.com/forum/clas...nly-heads.html) as well as with the mechanic who did it and people seem to agree that the stock cam would do just fine.

I am wondering if this cam is still the one I had before the engine was rebuild (a year ago) but I doubt it as these guys do have a lot of experience. I can check that tomorrow.

About that, I don't really know. They just told me that they switched to roller rockers. I can also ask them a little more details about that.

I can tell you that it is sometimes difficult to understand and be understood when:

- You are not a native English speaker and you live in the US
- You don't really know about engines

Anyway, the sad news is that I noticed an oil leak today
