Default Is this too close?

It's been a while since I have had time to work on my car login an ocassional 2 times a week now since I got my schedule changed. it has been hard seeing the car in the garage not being able to work on it, finally I had time to do something today. I had my fuel tank modifyed to have the 90- mustang fuel pump in there. Finally got it back this morning and I have been fighting with the fuel line and the return. Now I have a problem don't know if this is too close, and bad to have the lines running next to the headers. Is is ok or should I run them on the outside of the front rails then connect them underneath the battery?

That is definatley too close for my taste. Not only the headers but the exhaust pipe too. Its far too easy to run outside the frame rail to not do it.

Have you thought of running a pin stripe to seperate your two-tone? I think a white pin stripe would break those colors up nicely.

yeah it can get hot enough to boil the fuel in the lines pretty easily

Run the sucker outside the subframe extensions. Your going to get vapor lock with them that close. Remember.....heat goes up.

Ok I was going back and forth on running the fuel line there, thought I asked to make sure. So it would be better to run them parallel next to the front rail? Comming from the gas tank they runn in the driveshaft tunnel then I am going to make a 90 turn right then a 90 left to the front rail. thanks.
eZ I have a simulted fire in between the two colors I guess it doesn't show but the flames are a different gray. heres a close up pic.

Here's how close mine ever gets. As a general rule, you want to try to keep the fuel lines from ever crossing over the exhaust. If you do, do it at the coolest point.
