That is indeed a nice document. One other thing I thought of while reviewing the document was not to overtighten the accelerator pump screws either. It will strip rather easily (ask me how I know).

Lastly, try a flare nut wrench on the brass nut connected to your choke. It sounds like its gonna be a fight and a box wrench will likely strip it. Its not the end of the world if it does...

well i got that hose off but i need a new one, turns out its stripped. does anyone know if this is what npd calls the carb hose? I got the carb off and dried it out, tomarrow ill take itapart and clean it. here it goes...

Well i took it apart and used the one basket of gunk i had, but im gonna have to get another one later... There was one problem though, i have a totaly different carb than the one in the tutorial, but i also have the id tag thats says fomoco on it so i dont know whats goin on. all the gaskets i have in the kit fit, as well as the rubber valve and power valve. i dont know what to do...
