Just for the sake of encouraging others; I have been dreading replacing my leaf springs for a long time due to all the horror stories with the front mounting bolt. I finally got up the courage and what do you know the came right out with just a few taps of a hammer. I also had a bad vibration while driving more than 50 mph. All I could think was some horrible problem that I would never figure out or cost a fortune to fix. $40, 2 new u-joints and an hour or so and no vibration. Sometimes you just have to do it.
