as long as you don't have clogs in the line like i did, those were a bitch
Seriously? That's funny. As I was pumping I was thinking you could make something to use the compressor to create a vacuum. OH well, good forearm workout.

What did you have that clogged the line?

I got the new "temporary" engine put in today. One step closer to actually driving it again!!

Here's what the ride height looks like so far, pretty much the way it was with the old springs:

I did have a couple of questions though, the first stems from waiting 4 months to put the car back together. Where does the battery ground cable connect to the engine? I feel a little stupid for asking, but...

Also, how do you remove the '65 oil sensor. The 289 I put in is from a 66 so it has the different sensor, the'66 seems obvious how to remove but the '65 doesn't. Thanks.

Hey and while your at it.....I believe when they recommended lowering the upper control arm exactly 1", they also recommended cutting the coil I believe 1 and a half coil - for more spring! Makes for a very solid - though stiff - ride. Sweet handling.

Your project looks good! Best of luck. Cheers!

Why didnt you just get a bud, or in my case,, the old lady to pump the brake pedal while you bleed the system?? Its cheaper than buying a bleeder pump..

Yeah we just bled the brakes the old fashioned way.

There should be a bolt or bolt hole on the lower front passenger side corner of the block that is a where I would put the ground.

The oil sending unit your talking about is shaped odd, but a socket will fit it.

Looks great!!
Did you put in a power brake booster or is it just the single small master cylinder?
