No, it's just an oem replacement that came in a full suspension kit I bought from LMM.

Well my whole reason for wanting to use the pump first is that I didn't have a bench bleed kit for the master cylinder and the parts store didn't have one either. I had read that you could damage the MC if you didn't bleed it first.

I will be using the pedal method to finish them off, I agree, much easier.

There should be a bolt or bolt hole on the lower front passenger side corner of the block that is a where I would put the ground.

The oil sending unit your talking about is shaped odd, but a socket will fit it.
Woohoo, I figured out how to multi-quote!!! Sorry, it's the little things that get me going.

Thanks for the comment as well as the help on the oil sending unit. My problem is the only socket I have that is big enough to fit the sending unit is an impact socket, so it has a really thick wall and won't fit in there. Guess this is a good excuse to buy another set of sockets.

No booster, but I did get the dual bowl master cylinder. I was told I couldn't go with both the booster and the dual bowl since it is a 4speed (z-bar interference?). So I opted for the safety of the dual bowl. I never really minded the manual brakes anyways.

It started!!!! Got everything hooked up and cranked it for about 3 seconds and then fired up! Huge relief given that I had never actually heard the engine run before. All that's left is to connect the clutch linkage and get an alignment!

I'm looking into getting a '65 that is almost a twin looks wise to yours except it has a black interior.
It was once a sixer with drums and it will be switched to a V8 with disks, so I wondered if I could just leave it manual brakes.?.

I converted mine from an I6 to a V8 with 4 wheel disc. Its front Granada and rear Versailles. It has a dual reservior master cylinder but is still manual brakes. It functions well, and I am happy with it.
