my mustang has been running rough for a week know, when i drive it it feels like its going to die when at a light or on the freeway, when i take off from a light it hesitates real bad and then is rough idling like its not getting fuel, any suggestions would help.

 

it's hard to make out from your description
check filters (air/fuel)
if you are running points in your distributor, re-set them (adjust them)

i just replaced my air filter and replaced fuel filter about 6 months ago and i dont have points it electronic, more on the description when i am on the freeway around 70 mph it surges like its going to die same when idling at a light
