I had the wiring bundle that routes along the passenger side of the engine compartment break off the plastic sleeve holder and melt to the header.
It popped 3 fuses, the starter solenoid and burnt 2 wires.
Fixed the wires, replaced the fuses and the solenoid.
However it does not start with the key. I have 12 volts with the key on.
Continuity for the "start" wire is good from the switch on the column all the way to the solenoid.
could the switch on the column be bad? How do i check it?
this is all that is stopping me from putting the resto f the interior in and enjoying this car.
any help PLEASE!!!!!
