I talked to the guy and he told me he had his T5 built to hold up to 550HP.

Might be getting a 302 block. It all depends on how much. If the 302 block is cheap I'm buying it since it is local.

the g spec is not a stock t5. they can handle some mad hp, but iirc they have straight cut gears

death to a t5 occurs by not having a good shifter and from having sticky tires :P

granted high hp will kill them too

He told me I was fine with a stock T5 as long as I didn't raise the RPMs to 3000 and dump the clutch. Only time will tell

i thought you just said you were getting a 302?

and really you dont want to get a transmission and alway have in the back on your mind, i cant push it hard. youll be going well over 3000rpms if your continuing wanting to autocross

racin66coupe is confused.....
what motor are you getting?
i would get a 3.08 3 speed unless u can get a toploader, since a stock t5 i highly doubt would hold up. and you WILL raise it above 3k and dump the clutch, its only how long until u do, not if you do LOL

Well it looks like the 351W, but my dad said today he found a 302 block but it needs everything. He then told me we might not get the 351W because of that, but it is looking like I am getting the 351W.

Guy on another forum told me he has a spare T10 4 speed.

I'd probably forget right after I put it in and do it.
