Default Flush mount windshield?

Anyone know if there is a kit or a way to make the front or back windshield flush mount w/just a black weatherstrip and no trim?

That's how Ford did the BOSS 302.

If you look back a week or two I have a post where you can see where I am doing this to a 65 coupe. Not nearly as easy as I thought. I have a little more curve to the window than I thought for the rear. I have the problem figured out but it is taking more fabrication than I thought.

My original thinking was maybe a newer type of weather stripping would help seal the windshields better instead of trying to seal off with gallons of rubberized goo.

Did you find my thread for my build? I will have about a 3/4 wide strip of rubber be seen when I am done. I still have to figure out how I will hold my headliner since it wont be held in place with the windows and I have to figure out a trim around the window on the inside to finish it off with a clean look.

Hey Tony- I found your thread, good job! It will look awsome when your done. I, however, do not have any fabrication experience as of yet. I don't think I would take something like that on without a lot of guidence. I was hoping there was a new gasket to do away with the old type and the trim.

If you powder coated the trim it will look great forever. No one makes a kit yet but they do for the early camaro so in time maybe mustangs.

I would suggest powder coating the trim as well. If I wouldn't have flush mounted it I was going to powder coat it as well. I will probably end up doing this to the trim around the side windows.
