The NOS kit arrived today. It must be the glove box mounted one. It says it is for 64-65 on its packaging label. There are not any instructions with it. It is fairly self explanatory though.

The switch is integrated into the wiring and not the plug in type like the later 66.

I have a wiring schematic for 65. It actually shows the emergency flashers. It shows that it connects to the lighter and of course the 6 pin connector for the turn signal switch.

I don't know what a couple of connectors are for though. I know which one is for the flasher, but there are 2 other female bullit type terminals that are tied to the flasher. I tested this by ohming it out with a multimeter. So, what are these for?

Also, Where does it get ground from? Does it get it from the TS harness?

Where can I get the plate that goes on top of the gove box liner? If I can't get one, I was thinking about making my own or using 2 really wide washers.

Whats the easiest way to make a clean hole in the glove box liner with it in the car?

The part number on the original FOMOCO box is C6AZ-13A350-A2. Does anyone know which one that number corresponds to? I hope it is compatible with the 65 wiring harness. I just want to make sure it will work before I install it.

I found out from Mustang Corral, the ebay store that I got it from, that the 2 other wires tied into the flasher module are not needed for Mustangs. Apperently, it is for another application Ford had used it for.

I think I am going to make my own mounting plate.
