That was my thought process. Nothing was "that" loose.
Thanks.

I always prefer to do one side at a time. That way you have something to reference when you put it back together.

This defiantly helps on more complicated procedures. Not such a big deal with swapping springs, but a good practice to use.

Wrong. You have to do the third side after the second but before the first (unless it's Tuesday and Venus is aligned with Mars). If you do the second and third side at the same time it will cause the front branch springs to be out of alignment with the ignition preloader, and that will cause a singularity (a black hole) which will suck the entire car into the tailpipe.

You can find the step by step procedure in the February 1992 issue of National Geographic. It's right before the 30 page photo spread on the Hubcaps of Bolivia.

Geez, rmodel65, I thought you knew better.

Actually, your biggest headache might be that front bushing/bolt assembly. I have never done it but I hear that can be real stubborn. I would do one side at a time too.

Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... yes. I did the front coils yesterday and what fun they were, but new springs and shocks make such a difference.

Today I did the rears, one side at a time. The passenger side went easily. The hardest part was lining up the hole for the bolt in the front.
The driver's side was easy up until the front bolt. The nut wouldn't budge so I called it a day and will try again tomorrow, most likely will use a cutoff wheel to cut the spring and remove that, then cut the bolt. I knew it was going tooooooo smoothly. Ugggggghhhhhh
