I'm not surprised. You seem to be missing all of the clips the factory used to support the wiring harness, and keep it out of harm's way.

Once the clips were broken and no longer holding it, why leave them there? Once i get the gremlins evicted i am using some aircraft wiring/tubing clamps for everything.

Hve you done any more looking at this yet. Have you checked to see if you have power at the alt or fuse box? I'll do some more looking and see what I can come up with but it looks like you are going to have to keep following that black wire.

The black wire was the culprit. everything works again. Thank you for your help.... now i just have to recover the drivers seat, and i can drive it.
