I was actually going to build these myself. But after getting the bulbs (to reuse the sockets), LEDS and a resistor for each the price for making each one would have been $5-$7 each. This is a great price for ones that already fit! Just no way I could beat it by doing them myself!
One thing you should remember if you decide to use them in your rear lights, you may need to get a Blinker (turn signal/flashers) and some cars that have a "brake light out" warning light might register them as being out because the current draw is so low (newer cars). If your turn signals/Emergency blinkers won't flash, then you will need a low current flasher unit. If you have a "brake light out" warning light, then you will need a load resistor. The description of the problem and the solutions (these parts) are listed on their web site and available here:
http://www.superbrightleds.com/tail-brake-turn.html
Anyhow, think I will go place my order for them! Thanks!

Does your dimmer switch still operate with the LED gauge bulbs, can you still dim them or is there only one level of brightness?

Strange, the OE gauges in my 66 are quite readable, and I only have the dimmer up about halfway.

I'll try to get a pic.

Mine are easily readable as well, but I don't have the same cluster. I have the long sweep speedometer.

I redid my bulbs with LED in my '70 because I could barely read the gauges at night (guess I'm getting old). I did it in green so it looked factory just a little brighter. They dim just like the old bulbs did.

And painting the inside of the cluster white does help too.

Here are the pics of how my instrument cluster turned out. Needles repainted, Scott Drake white gauge face overlays, Mustang Project ultra bright white LED bulbs, matching white LED electronic tach with shift light... While it turned out great and there is a huge improvement in visibility, it is just a bit too modern for my taste. I'm looking to sell my set up and get back into a stock cluster again.
