i went to the body shop today and the whole car has been slicksanded and a guide coat has been laid down.

got some more pictures. he said he would be spray the rest of the car tomorrow so i am going to head up there tomorrow afternoon to take some more pictures.

paint looks nice, that hood came out great. What is that hanging from the roof in the paint booth? I can't identify that part

Be sure to post some pics of the full car when done! looks great so far

thanks, yeah i was really excited when i saw the hood. that is the piece that goes in between the headlights.

got some good news! car is painted and interior will be painted and get reassembled. Wednesday the car is mine to pick up! got some pics of the new paint. i will go back to him later when i get some money to wetsand the clear coat and polish the hell out of it to make it perfect. but i think it looks pretty good especially for the money i paid to get it done. i think i got a bargain here. sorry fot the poor quality pictures and the bad lighting.

nice! the paint shop laid that clear out pretty damn good. cant see any orange peel in the shop/lights reflection, from the pics anyhow
