This is one of the most mature comments from someone your age that I have seen in a very long time. You give me hope that this world isn't going to go to hell in a handbag yet.

update:

since my last post i removed all the windows, installed the side scoop, removed everything off the dash and out of interior, primed interior there is some more stuff that i am forgetting, things slowed down a little bit only due to the holidays.
today i sent my car off to paint and the car will be painted black. i was quoted 3500 to weld over all emblem holes, finish hood, align panels door etc weld over radio, repair any spots, weld rocker panel holes, finish side scoop, feather fill, prime, bc/cc straight black. wetsand clear, and polish. car is being painted with Matrix paint. I feel the paint will come out nice seeing some of the cars he has done. Body work and paint is being done at Cars by Haines in florida. anyway here is some pictures of the car the day it was dropped off at paint.
trunk is also primered but it is covered with stuff.

here is a link to my photobucket for this car, there is more pictures on there.

For a black paint job, 3500 is great. It takes forever to do the body work on a black car. One thing i dont understand though is why you attempted to fill holes and do body wrok before you stripped it.
It will look good. I think though that you may want to look for the duck tail rear spoiler. It will balance the car out. You have the hood and valance to make the front end look tough but you are forgetting about the small rear end on these cars.

Just ading my 2cents!

Keep it up though. it is a hobbie that wil stck for the rest of your life.

yeah i wanted to do that, the painter is working with me and does more than bodywork so he knows i will be returning to him and he said he would hook me up if i ever needed to get anything painted. yeah seeing the quality of the work he does i am pretty excited to see how the car turns out.

small update:

car is still in body shop. I don't have any pictures as of now but i will upload some when i get some. All emblem holes have been welded, also rocker panel holes where a runner went across the car have been welded. hood has been straightened out so it isn't wavy anymore. on the front valence, to solve the issue of it not aligning properly, he fiberglassed the bottom section, and will cut it so it can still be removable. Some bondo has been found on the roof, quarter panel and front fender, but he did say the bondo was properly put on, and he honestly said he wouldn't repair it by replacing panels unless i really wanted to. That kind of told me that instead of running up my bill he is being honest with me. car has been sanded, and will be slick sanded then will be cured for 4-5 days. after that it will be blocked down, then primered etc.
I will be up there again next wednesday so it should be slick sanded by then and i will take some pictures and post it up here. he did say it is a pretty the body is pretty solid. so that made me fill good about the purchase

my dad stopped by the paint shop today and had his camera with him, since yesterday he did a couple more things around the car like smoothed the dash, removed body panels, and slick sanded the hoods, fenders and doors.
