Default 65 Mustang Bench Seat

My son and I are restomodding a 65 coupe. The cars interior is in near perfect condition with no tears in any of the interior. It has a white/black bench seat with an armrest. I have found a good deal on a pair of '07 Mustang bucket seats that we were thinking about replacing the bench with. What is a decent ballpark price I should ask for the bench seat?
Thanks,
Breck

I don't know, but those bench seats are rare.

Not valuable, for all their rarity. If you've ever gone for a long drive in the car, you'll appreciate the arm rest. The bench was a rare, extra-cost option. Pretty weird in a way, in most cars in 1965, bucket seats were a rare, extra-cost option.

What do you mean by "white/black"? the 65 white interior was all white, except for the dash pad and carpet, which could be black, red, blue, or green. Is that what you mean?

Considering the low potential sale of the bench, I'd tuck it into an attic corner for the day you decide to have an unusual Mustang again.

Meanwhile, you'll need new 65-style foam "buns" for those 67 seats, and the lowest side trim hole will need to be re-drilled to the 65 location.

It was some '07 seats he had found. Don't know about mounting those. I put some '86 GT seats in my Ranchero by using '65 Mustang tracts. One mounting hole needed to be drilled, but an '07 pair, I don't know.

I agree with storing the bench.

That's what I get for answering when I'm sick. '07 seats will be real interesting trying to get them to match a 65 white interior.

What hole needed to be drilled?
I'm guessing it was on the seat rack, but not the car itself?
I may consider that, I would get some seat recovers from TMI and redo the fronts to match the backs.

I would also love to put some '01 Bullitt seats in the '65.

Seems like it was the rear hole in the track on each side. Mustang and Ranchero use the same bucket seat frames, so the holes for mounting the tracks were there.
