i'm 17 years old with a 1967 i6, it runs pretty good. but i wanted more power and dont know if a 302 would fit in my 67. would anybody please direct me in the right place. i found a really good deal on a 302 engine with transmission for $345. i have the money but dont know if it would fit. can anyone give me some tips?

you will probably have to do some engine mount work, but it will fit. those engine compartments on the older mustangs are huge.

I am actually going to get a 66 or 67 convertable and drop a cobra motor in it. have fun with the car.

what tran on it auto or stick?
i was also 17 when i got my mustang. it look just like yours but ur body alot better then my is. what u got a 6l with a 3 speed.?
