Fel-Pro gaskets are good stuff but get a set of rubber valve cover and oil pan gaskets instead of that cork crap.

Depends- I use good quality cork gaskets on my 289HP. Rubber gaskets just won't seal properly on 45 year old steel valve covers, so I glue a set of cork gaskets to the covers with Permatex. The current set has been off and on at least 4 times, still no leaks, which is typical. Normally, they last until it get careless and damage one.
