I'm currently running a late model 5.0 motor in my '67 (caburated) and a t-5 with a cable cutch setup. One od the guys from CJ Pony parts said these headers would fit but, I'm not so sure. Is there any way I can be certain?
Same ones I'm currently using along with my 302 based engine, T56 and a clutch cable. So very much like your setup. Those headers should work just fine for you as well.

really? what do you think about those headers? Do the collectors hang too low for you? I also got the 1" coil drop in the front.
thanks man I'll look into it. It just seems like i have the worst combo for header clearance! haha
What's the combo?
302 with a 351w firing order
stock steering box
T5 with a cable clutch
I posted a thread on another vintage mustang forum. ahem, ahem. Basically it was asking what headers guys with T5's were using. I asked them to be specific about steering setups and what was activating the clutch. I wanted to get some sort of database going because there wasn't a whole lot of info. It would be cool if someone did a chart like dodgestang did with tire fitment.
Come to think of it, those flowtech headers may have cleared the stock linkage and not a clutch cable. I don't recall.
