Default missing door tags

car's been painted, and it looks like the tags were taken off the doors and not replaced. I have the VIN, but other than that is there any way to find out more specifics about what it came with? it's a 69 F code 302, i don't think the monte carlo bar in it was stock, has eddlebrock covers i know aren't stock, just want to find a list of what all was done in a previous, bastardized (they butchered the wiring harness), restoration.

thats the worst thing about picking up a classic car it seems like a monkey worked on the wiring on the car

you think as owners at one point they would want perfection

A Marti report will tell you how it came from the factory, I believe they also offer correct for your car reproduction door tags as well.

http://www.martiauto.com/tags.cfm thanks, wasn't sure if you could get one or not, that'll be a big help.

Kinda sad on the monte carlo bar, they only used one bolt per side, i guess they didn't want to drill holes to make it work...

In the 70's, any kid who worked as a bagger at Kroger could, and did, buy one of these cars. And of course they all thought they knew more about wiring, engines, etc., than Ford.
