i am all for people working on there cars but i know how hard a headliner or convertible top can be. i have been doing auto upholstery for 28 years, on some mustangs the top or headliner will give me no trouble and on other days they will fight to the end.if you are building a nice car sometimes it is best to take it to a shop and let them take care of it.if your building a daily driver and not worried about it ,it is worth a try.
