Default 66 vert And stick or auto?

Hey guys im currently restoring a 1966 rust loving mustang. I'm curious to how much of a pain it is to make a car a stick. my car was originally a auto.

And if you have some pics of a 66 vert or close to that year post some pics.

I stayed with auto so can't help you with conversion. I do have pics though.

I dont have any pics but, if you like driving stick it's definately worth the trouble! I converted my 67' to power brakes and junked that c4 for a T-5 5spd. It's a lil pricey but, I think throwing in a 4spd might be cheaper.

I've done it. If you have everything you need it can be done in a long day. Personally I'd recommend installing a T5 5-speed. Very easy.

If your going to convert to a stick then I also recommend a T5.

I think a stock or mild vert would make a nice cruiser with an AOD.

We converted our '66 to a T-5 from a C4. Pretty easy job to do. Worst part is finding the pedal assemblies
