Are you going to clean up under the car at all? Those shiney new parts are begging for a prettier backdrop.

Eventually, yes. But just to get it on the road again and become a driver project is my goal.

As far as a cheaper EFI, this is about as cheap as it gets. I'm also weighing the bonuses of getting into EFI:
*Cold starts are easier
*Average about 10 more HP
*Average a little better fuel efficiency
*No more adjusting/tweaking of the carb or having clogged jets
*Runs the same no matter what altitude [I plan on doing the Power Tour at least once]

Yes you can get this system down to the $1500 range, but you need a fuel system already in place. The current fuel pump won't work and also these EFI systems need a return line. Unless you get a returnless system.

It is bucks, but I'm thinking the benefits out weight the cost.

Update:

I just cleaned up my old spindles. I used new hardware though:

QA-1 Adjustable shock inside Global West SB Spring [525lb]:

Finished Driver Side with SSBC brakes and drilled/slotted rotors:

New lug nuts, of course! I also used some Simple Green on the rim to try and clean it up:

Once I get the engine back and the car drivable, I'll take it down to get outfitted with new rims and tires. I'm going custom backspacing...but I'm not revealing what rims I am using quite yet. I want to be somewhat unique!

All I have left to do on the passenger side is get the caliper installed. Muscle Car Gremlins stole my brake pads...

edit:
Here is the reward for a corrected suspension:
