Default carb question

Is there any difference in the I6 200 1 barrel carb from 65-67? If what I've seen is right they seem to be the same. Thanks!

I believe they are all the same. If you are looking for a good upgrade the I6 Granadas had a Holey one barrel that works quite nicley on the Mustang.

Yes they are the same. I went through 2 1bbl carbs before I upgraded to my 2bbl setup I have right now. Those 1bbls couldn't take it

Wasn't it just the extra accelerator pump?

No, the accelerator pump is on the other side, on both. That's a dashpot, which reduces rapid movement of the throttle, to prevent stalling at stops and improve fuel econonmy when moving.

I have found a lot of the Autolites are worn out where the butterfly shaft goes through the body of the carb and they leak vaccum.
