Default Will this distributor cap fit?

So i want to get a male distrib cap and was wondering how fitment works on these things?

My current one is a clamp down like this
but black some brand that starts with bsd or something

Anyways would something like this work?

do i need to get a new rotor with it too?

p.s. its the stock distributor motorcraft housing the cap goes onto with pertronix inside

Will that MSD cap fit on a stock distributor? The answer is no. Why do you need a male cap like that?

I kind of think you are going abou it bass akwards. You buy the wires to fit the cap not buy the wires you like and find a cap that fits them. You could buy the whole pertronix dizzy from CJ that has the cap you are looking for on it.

I looked a summit and it doesn't look like they have one like that. I think you are out of luck unless you change the dizzy which would be a lot of trouble just to use the style of wires you like.
