Default need radiator help

I'm thinking about getting a new radiator. I live in southern nevada and need either a really good 3/4 row/core radiator or at least a good aluminum
Does anyone know what the difference between the 4 core radiators that say with or without factory air? I currently have factory air but am planning on switching to the sandeen conversion. I cant find an aluminum that says with factory air, but have found four core radiators that say they will work for both.
-for instance mustang depot sells a 4 core/row without a/c that goes for like 300 dollars but the 4 core with a/c sells for 400 bucks.
-if the ac uses it's own condensor does it matter what radiator you use.
-cj pony has a 3 row radiator that i'm sure it will fit. they also sell what i believe is the scott drake aluminum radiator and on scott drake doesnt say anything about the factory air.

any help would be great.

4-row is only about 10% better than 3-row, you have to need the capacity pretty bad to that far.

I have an aluminum Fluidyne direct replacement that I got from Mustangs Unlimited. Its a really nice part and it keeps the car cool with the AC on when its 100 degrees outside.

Another good brand is Griffin and I have heard good things about Summit brane which I think is Nothern.

4 cores were generally used in ac or heavy duty applications.

You live in a fairly hot area--I'd err on the side of caution and spend the extra 100 bucks.

The number one cause of automatic transmission failure is an overheated motor--transmissions dont like heat--no if ands or buts--something else to consider. If your not looking for original then run the 3 core and a separate trans cooler with a gauge.

If it's an automatic on top of having a/c, in your climate I would consider the four row a must. As far as automatic transmission life goes, you can easily take care of that issue with more frequent fluid and filter changes.

As I recall the optimum transmission fluid is about 180 degrees. For every ten degrees over that, the transmission fluid life is cut in half. In your climate, again if you have an a/t, change the fluid about every 15 or 20 thousand miles.

All the extra maintenance as well as high repair costs is why I don't own anything with an automatic transmission.

I also have the same circumstance. I am leaning toward the 3 row, but not sure which manufacturer to go with. I am not going aluminum because I want to keep the factory look. I am also not sure 3 or 4 row.
