Oh man, there are tons of them out there for a low price. Just let me know what you are looking for and I will point you in the right direcion. I do not want a rusty project so I avoid them. However if you have no problem with body work I am talking less than 3K for a fastback.

longlive289s - I was talking to a guy at work about my Mustang. I didn't think he knew much about cars and he told me he had a 429. I asked him how much and he said $50 for the block. We talked some more and then said he had the complete motor. I asked him how much for the whole thing and he said $100. I picked it up right after work. With a set of D3VE-A2A heads along with the DOVE-C heads, two oil pans, valve covers, intake, distributor and everything else that goes on a motor. The block is a DOVE-A.

fordication - please let me know where I can find one. I am ok with rust, I picked up my beauty for $1200 and the only bad rust is in the trunk because the guy let it sit without the deck lid on it.

How about you sell the engine to me so I can put it in my 71?

I wouldn't mind selling it but I am not sitting on it for much money. I don't want to kick myself later for giving it up. I will probably never come across one so cheap again. I would probably only sell it for the right price, not sure what that is now though. I may put the Trick Flow Twisted wedge heads on my 5.0 and go with the Trick Flow pistons, trying to get 450 hp out of it. That much hp would still be a ton of fun in the 66'.

Here you go. DO a search on Jax and you will find the car you are looking for. If its out there its on this. The only other place is Classic Car Trader and they are high. Ed
