Definitely not! I've already spent like $400 on the swap.

I like them better than the fox body emblems. Not exactly sure where on the fender these will go. I will have to check and see where/if they will look good.

I'm sorry to hear about the damage your car took. At least it wasn't worse. On another note, I am really glad your keeping it now.

Where are you going to put these? What are tri bar emblems? Im my opinion neither them nor the old 5.0 emblems belong on a classic. I got these for mine.

Exactly like the ones in this auction. This pair is the only one close to what I paid for mine. I paid $88 shipped.

I tried to use the factory style mounts on mine, more specifically the 66 mounts. I'm not sure what is different between them from 66 on may be the same. I know they are different than 65. I ended up using the RMP adjustable mounts, it made things so much easier.

Also I ordered my fuel pump and a few other parts and those should arrive tomorrow. My fenders have been ordered today and should be here in about a week if not less. New front bumper showed up today, and I'm about to start working on my hood.

And from what I can tell I don't have to swap out my I6 radiator because both hose locations are correct. I'm not 100% sure about this, so I'm going to keep looking.
The 5.0 or late model Fluidyne conversion radiator I got has the same hose locations as the I6 radiator. Keep in mind that your water pump is reverse rotation and requires a different fan.

I pretty much agree with this. I like popping the hood on cruise night and seeing the carb and everything looking old school. I know people that have the stock Mustang EFI and it does work well, but it just doesn't look the same.

If they don't look good I just won't put them on and resell them.

I'm thinking about where that emblem was or line it up level with the front bumper where the words MUSTANG used to be.

And for anyone that doesn't know the picture below is the 2011 5.0 emblem

That makes sense. I should have known what the tri bar emblem meant.

I like your car with no emblems. The new 5.0 one looks nice, but not on a classic. I say if you put something on it get a pony emblem with the 302 on top of the tri bars.
