Default UCA bolt loosen

Hello I am trying to loosen the upper control arm inner shaft to body bolt. From the engine compartment my headers are in the way to where I can't get a deep socket wrench around the bolt. Do I need to remove it from the wheel well? If so any tips ideas?

Use an offset box wrench. And unless the bolts are butchered, they won't turn from the other side, they are supposed to be pressed into the shaft.

Thanks I'll have to pick one of those up.

How tight are these bolts suppose to be? The haynes says 75 to 100 lbs but what I could grip with a regular 3/4 wrench just kept tightening and I am afraid I am going to break something if I keep trying to tighten it tighter.

I would say think of it like a wheel lug nut and tighten up like you do with a lug wrench. They are tightened to about the same spec.
