Yep. The 67 Mustang GT could be ordered with a C code 289 2V. With an auto trans, it would have been badged "GTA". Of course, with the 2V engine, it had a single exhaust.

I have been "into" Mustangs since 1966, and I have never seen a real C code GT. Pretty rare.

just today my friend purchased a 67 fastback c-code with GTA package, it appears to be all original.

I have found this thread because wanted to check if there actually were GTA c-code cars in 67

I have a question - Did the A Code engine in 1967 come with single exhaust? I am looking at a '67 Mustang that they claim is all original, but it has single exhaust with an A-code 289. I've never seen this before, but I'm more familiar with '65 and '66.

Thanks mfor your help!

I believe it did. IIRC, only the K code and S code came with duals that year. All K codes were GT's (or Shelbys) but the 390 could be a GT (GTA) or plain Mustang. A lot of changes were made in 67 to cut cost. BTW, 65-66 non-GT A codes had single exhaust.
