Default Hourly labor cost for engine builder?

What would an engine builder charge for an hourly rate (per hour labor cost)?

What would you pay per hour for a person who can find lower cost used parts? I know - how much lower would be a good question that effects how much you pay.

Depends on where you live, in California right now a good engine builder is going to be anywhere from $70-120 depending on "how good" they are.

NEVER pay by the hour, they will eat lunch and take calls on your dime
