heater box assembly
I need some help, made a rookie mistake and threw out the old heater box before noting whether it had the opening for the "rheostat" as most suppliers indicate on there listings. I suspect that mine didn't have it as the old blower appears to be a 2 speed (3 wires w/ one being a ground).
Am I correct in assuming that with the 2 speed blower that the system didn't have the resistor?

Mine has a 3 speed blower and it only has 2 wires on the blower motor. It has a 3 prong connector and a 1 prong connector on the front of the heater box.
Do you have the 3 prong plug and 1 prong plug hanging under the dash?

Rule #1 in restoration, never throw anything away until the completed car is driving down the street.
