Default Water Pump

I don't know about the edelbrock - but I did install the summit branded high flow aluminum pump on my current car. I did it as part of my rebuild - the original ford one on my car was shot and the high-flow wasn't that expensive. I also went with an aluminum radiator and electric fan - just to make sure that the car stayed cool while the a/c was cranking. I have had 10 of these early cars and the cooling system has been an issue with most of them. It simply isn't designed well in stock form. I have found that a flex fan and shroud usually solved this issue - as long as the radiator was in good shape.

My cooling system on my current project is a little overkill - but I am building the car for my wife to drive and dont want to take a chance with it getting hot while she is driving by herself.
